Shop Rules and Policies

Thank you for choosing Chris’s Customs Garage Co. LLC. By booking a bay, using our tools, or entering our facility, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

General Agreement

By reserving a bay, using shop equipment, or utilizing any services provided by Chris’s Customs Garage Co. LLC, you agree to comply with all facility rules, posted safety requirements, and instructions given by staff. Chris’s Customs Garage Co. LLC operates primarily as a do-it-yourself automotive facility, meaning customers are responsible for performing and overseeing their own vehicle repairs and maintenance unless other arrangements have been made with staff. All customers and users of the facility must be 18 years of age or older, unless accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

Booking Requirements

  • All Bay Rentals must be paid in advance unless otherwise arranged by Chris's Customs Garage Co. LLC.

  • Vehicle Condition: Vehicles must be capable of safely entering and leaving the rented bay under their own power. Non-running vehicles must be transported to and from the facility by trailer.

  • Booking Requirements: A valid driver’s license and completed liability waiver are required before using a bay, tools, or equipment.

  • Arrival Time: Customers should arrive 15 minutes before their reservation if possible. Showing up late will not extend your time.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • 24 Hours or More Before Your Reservation: Cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled start time to receive a full refund of your deposit or transfer it to a new reservation date.

  • Less Than 24 Hours Before Your Reservation: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time will result in the loss of the deposit. Rescheduling may be permitted at the discretion of Chris’s Customs Garage Co. LLC.

  • No-Shows: Customers who do not arrive for their scheduled reservation without prior notice will forfeit their deposit and any membership hours applied to the booking. Please contact us as soon as possible if you are unable to make your reservation.

Late Arrival Policy

  • A late arrival does not extend your reservation end time; your bay reservations begin at the exact booked start time and not at the time of arrival.

  • If a customer arrives late more than 15 minutes, the reservation will still end at the originally scheduled time unless Chris’s Customs Garage approves an extension. Additional time is subject to availability and may result in additional charges.

Shop Rules

  • Smoke-Free Facility: Smoking, vaping, and open flames are not permitted anywhere inside the shop.

  • Proper Footwear: Closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times while in the shop or work areas.

Please Clean Up

Before leaving the facility, customers are expected to leave their bay clean, organized, and ready for the next customer. This includes:

  • Returning all tools and equipment to their designated locations.

  • Sweeping and clearing the bay and surrounding work area.

  • Properly disposing of trash, debris, and used parts.

  • Completely cleaning any spills or automotive fluids from the work area.

Additional cleaning, replacement, or service fees may be charged if a bay is left excessively dirty, tools are not returned, or shop property is missing or damaged.

Safety First

  • Eye Protection: Safety glasses are strongly encouraged when working beneath a vehicle or operating power tools and equipment.

  • Vehicle Support: Use appropriate secondary supports, such as jack stands, whenever required or appropriate while working underneath a vehicle.

  • Follow Safety Procedures: Observe all posted warnings, safety rules, and operating instructions for shop equipment.

  • Ask Before Using: If you are unfamiliar with a tool or piece of equipment, speak with a staff member before attempting to use it.
